Did you know that it is no longer worth your while to shop in store? We have gone from catalogues to department stores to internet shopping. Whereas people were once excited to shop in stores, it is now not even worth the time it takes to get ready, get in the car, drive to your destination, walk around in circles, and finally wait in line for customer service.
Most of the time you go to a department store, they end up ordering the item online to send to your home. That’s right, you read that right. You can go into a department store if you really want to, but most of the time they are going to order it online just like you could have done at home. All you get when you go into a department store is a real live talking head, a salesperson trying to get as much money out of your pockets as possible, and an inflated price compensating for the brick and mortar-related overhead costs.
Rather than waste your time and money going to department stores in person, you should really be trying to do all of your shopping online. When you shop online, you can shop peacefully from the tranquility of your own home. No need to have someone interrupt you with useless, unsolicited advice. No need to pay inflated prices just to cover the store’s electricity bill. Definitely no need to have someone try to suggestive sell you items you do not want.
Best of all, when you buy online, you often qualify for coupons that are unique to online shopping. Online shoppers benefit from saving time and money, so why would you bother going back to the past and visiting department stores? Granted, we do not have a DeLorean time machine, but we can stay in the present right here and now, and take advantage of the technological resources at our fingertips.
